Our gorgeous campground is a mixture of wide grassy areas and sheltered rainforest sites, all backing onto a beautiful creek with headwaters in the Nightcap National Park.
Open, roomy camp sites
You can enjoy:
- A camp ground just like the one Mum and Dad used to take you on holiday to!
- Plenty of shady camping sites on either side of a small creek.
- Unpowered sites only suitable for tents, campervans, camper trailers and motorhomes (no powered sites)
- Shared facilities include hot showers, septic toilets, and laundry
- $20.00 deposit ($50 at Easter)
- All camp sites have fireplaces* (subject to fire bans) with BBQ plates
- B.Y.O. all firewood *
- Environmentally protected area - Sorry, pets strictly not permitted

Midginbil Campground
Come camping or caravanning at Midginbil and you can enjoy sitting around a campfire with our red necked wallabies.
Rainforest camping sites by the creek
Simply one of the most beautiful campsites you will ever find - and just like the campsites you enjoyed as a child, we have fireplaces* and lots of space to spread out.
Most of our sites have enough space for four or five tents, not just one.
Your children will take home some wonderful everlasting memories and may not want to leave!

Each campsite has its own fireplace* for cooking, and more than enough room, with hot showers and septic toilets available, and abundant wildlife - wallabies and brush turkeys visit the campsite each dawn and dusk, as well as over 100 species of birds.
Spacious, grassy tent sites
You can enjoy the use of our new all weather tennis court and heated saltwater swimming pool, or book any of our activities including horseriding, canoeing and archery, and there are great bushwalks through rainforests, over swing bridges and to hilltops with 40 klm views.
Or take advantage of the recreational freshwater fishing available, and throw in a line.
* Fire Wood and Fire Places
As we are an Advanced Ecotourism retreat, it is strictly forbidden to remove any wood from the rainforest, so please BYO firewood, (though we do sometimes sell it at $10 a bag - check when you're booking.) and sorry, pets strictly not permitted.
